Moving forward with their plans, Kaizer Chiefs New Coach’s Name REVEALED to the public through under-carpet sources.
Last season, Arthur Zwane was leading at Chiefs, but Molefi Ntseki took over before this current campaign started.
For many Chiefs fans, Ntseki wasn’t a popular choice. He didn’t have a strong track record and had never coached a professional senior team before. He did coach Bafana Bafana after Stuart Baxter, but he was fired for not getting them to AFCON 2021. Then, he joined Chiefs in a new role for football development.
However, Ntseki didn’t last long as coach. He got sacked before the season was halfway through because of a rough start, including being knocked out of two cups. Cavin Johnson stepped in temporarily after working on development at the club.

Chiefs did better towards the end of 2024 under Johnson’s lead, winning three of their last four games. But now, the club is considering other options. Despite saying otherwise, there are ongoing reports that Chiefs are trying to get Pitso Mosimane. He seems to be their top choice. However, recent news from Soccer-Laduma suggests that Kaizer Chiefs’s new coach is Brazilian coach Alexandre Gallo.
A source mentioned, “Among the five shortlisted candidates is Brazilian coach Mr. Gallo. He’s not the first choice; that’s obviously Pitso (Mosimane). They prefer a local coach first, and Mosimane is at the top of the list. But if they can’t get him for any reason, then Mr. Gallo is the second choice. Right now, he’s also in the running.”
