Former FC Copenhagen forward Luther Singh has received new offers from Europe, the Major League Soccer as well as an enquiry from one Soweto team, his agent told iDiski Times.
Singh, a product from the Stars of Africa academy, spent most of his career in Portugal where he played for Sporting Braga’s B-team, Sporting Braga’s senior side, Moreirense and Pacos Ferreirra.
The 26-year-old had a season in Denmark, where he played FC Copenhagen before he was loaned out to Chaves FC in Portugal in the 2022/23 campaign. He returned to the Danish giants in June 2023 before signing Serbian side FK Cukaricki in January.
He made 16 appearances for the Serbian side, including four Europa Conference League appearances, scoring two league goals.
“We received offers from Egypt, Morocco, Scotland, Sweden, and Major League Soccer. One Soweto club also enquired,” his representative Warren Swartz told iDiski Times.
“The reason we haven’t made the decision is that the offers are not favorable for the player, we still want to wait a bit.
“He still wants to play abroad, but if the right deal locally comes, he will take it. The aim is to get back to the national team.”
Some Fotball supporters may have been confused on which Soweto team that Luther Singh might join possibly by the end of the season.
According to a source,Kaizer Chiefs Football Club is the soweto team that is chasing for the signature of Luther Singh,it has been said that Kaizer Chiefs Football Club have been targeting the player for too long.
Kaizer Chiefs Football Club might have to consider that Luther Singh might bring a lot of value in the Kaizer Chiefs Football Club squad since he also played for a Club like Copenhagen which also played in the Uefa Champions League.
A further statement will be made in the coming few weeks regarding the future of Luther Singh.
