Chiefs received an astounding R40 million offer from Vitoria SC for Du Preez.
So, whilst Nabi and Amakhosi management were not initially intending to release him, they are now considering the move due to the massive money on offer.
“The way things are standing right now, Chiefs are considering taking that offer so that they can use part of that money to sign some of the players that the club wants,” the insider told SoccerLaduma.
Moreover, Chiefs have prioritized the need to reinforce their attacking department. Ultimately, they could use this money to buy a top striker or two.

Amakhosi have struggled to sign any attackers this transfer window. Meaning, they urgently need to reinforce their attacking department.
Chiefs are interested in this Mamelodi Sundowns attacker. Additionally, Nabi has expressed a stern interest in his former player, Fiston Mayele. Interestingly, he is valued at roughly R36 million. Meanwhile, Percy Tau is facing ongoing issues with Al Ahly with Nabi responded to the possibility of bringing the Tau to Chiefs.
