The midfielder for Mamelodi Sundowns has once more been linked to an unexpected switch to Kaizer Chiefs.
According to The South African website, Sphelele Mkhulise is reportedly linked with a move to Mamelodi Sundowns arch-rivals even though the June transfer window has been closed.
Sphelele Mkhulise was a regular starter under Pitso Mosimane. However, after the departure of the Al Ahli SC coach, the midfielder fell out of favour.
The 26-year old has not featured much this season. He was on the bench against Amazulu, and also not named in the matchday squad against Orlando Pirates, which might be the major reason why some clubs think they can get him.
Manqoba Mngqithi, who is the co-coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, however has warned those who are interested in Sphelele Mkhulise that he is not going anywhere.
According to Mngqithi, who spoke with Mkhulise, there is no likelihood that Kaizer Chiefs will acquire Mkhulise.
