Kaizer Chiefs are set to welcome AmaZulu to the FNB Stadium on Saturday where Arthur Zwane’s side will be looking to build on last weekend’s MTN8 quarter-final win over Stellenbosch FC.
Speaking ahead of the match, Amakhosi midfielder Ngcobo, who made his 50th DStv Premiership appearance for the club last month, revealed that he was confidence Chiefs could claim all three points against Usuthu, who they will meet again in the MTN8 semi-finals later this month.
“We will face the same AmaZulu in the MTN8 semi-finals and we will take the heart and fighting spirit that got us through the quarter-final into that match as well,” he said at the media open day at Naturena on Thursday.
“We don’t mind who we face because we are committed to sticking to our own ambitions and are confident that if we play well we can beat anybody.
He added, “We have played five league games so far and I think we’ve done pretty well, although we are always striving to improve. There is great unity within the squad and with the technical staff. Everybody is pulling together and determined to achieve success and bring happiness to all of our loyal supporters.”
