Zwane has won twice and lost thrice in the league while progressing to the semi-finals of the MTN8 after overcoming Stellenbosch in the last eight.
The start has been far from convincing raising the uncertainty levels over whether Zwane can end the seven-year trophy drought.
“What is key is knowing what we are doing,” insists Zwane when asked about the weight of expectations and the pressure building up with every game.
“This is a journey, and it is not going to be easy.
“It won’t come on a silver platter, but we are going to have to grind to get to where we want in terms of the results.
“So, yes, it comes with pressure.
“The more you win games, the more our supporters expect from us and when we lose games, we will have to go back to the drawing board and look at ourselves by doing an introspection to help ourselves improve our performances.
“It is part of the game, and it all comes with the pressure of being a head coach of Kaizer Chiefs,” says Zwane.
Zwane’s start has been better than that of Stuart Baxter, Gavin Hunt, and Giovanni Solinas’ returns in recent times at the club at this stage.
Chiefs face AmaZulu on Saturday evening (17h30) keen to improve on the ninth-place position that they occupy at the moment.
