Kaizer Chiefs defensive-midfielder Njabulo Blom said he would love to get a first senior goal for AmaKhosi.
The 22-year-old is nearing his 100-game milestone and since making his first team debut in March 2019, he has so far played 91 times for the club in all competitions, with eight assists and zero goals.
In an interview carried by the Chiefs website, Blom admits he would love to score his first goal for the club.
“I think every player has ambitions to score a goal. It’s a great feeling to see my teammates score, so I just imagine how great it would feel if I scored a goal,” Blom told the clubs website.
“I try to put myself I good positions in games but, obviously, I must also respect my position, respect the roles that the coach gives me… but it’s something that I’m looking forward to,” he added.
In Chiefs’ 3-1 win over Stellenbosch FC a few days ago, Blom was one of the club’s star performers in the victory.
In their next DStv Premiership outing, Chiefs face Chippa United on Saturday (17h30) at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
