The soccer world is breathing a sigh of relief as reports emerge that Tshepo Nojila, a Premier Soccer League (PSL) assistant referee, has been found alive after going missing for five days. Nojila, who was last seen officiating in a DStv Premiership match between Royal AM and Golden Arrows on 4 February, had been the subject of a frantic search by his family, friends and the soccer community at large.
The 32-year-old was discovered in the bushes at Madibogo Village in the North West province on Sunday, 7 February, much to the relief of all who had been concerned for his safety and well-being. Although the details surrounding his disappearance are still unknown, it’s a huge relief that he has been found safe and sound.
The Premier Soccer League has yet to release an official statement on the matter, but the news of Nojila’s discovery is sure to bring a smile to the faces of all who have been following this story. The dedicated and hardworking assistant referee is a well-known figure in the soccer community, and his safe return is a testament to the unwavering spirit and determination of those who never gave up hope.
