Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mduduzi Shabalala has lamented the situation him and Mfundo Vilakazi find themselves in, but says they will both succeed at the club.
Shabalala, 20, has played 38 games for the Chiefs first team since being promoted from the DStv Diski Challenge squad.
He has registered two goals with three assists, with sporadic game time amidst the club trying to find some form of consistency.
Vilakazi, who recently turned 18, signed his first professional contract last week, has also entered the first team fold where Amakhosi find themselves in 10th place in the DStv Premiership after four defeats and a draw in their last five games.
“With Mfundo, I knew him from eKasi, we played the Siphiwe Tshabalala [tournament], that’s where I saw him play and met and connected,” Shabalala said ahead of the SuperSport United fixture.

“I always talk to him and tell him; it may not be now but one day, it’s going to happen [we succeed] just keep on growing, keep grinding because he’s a good player, we know we’re good players – just not fortunate enough that things aren’t going our way but one day…”
