This, after he confirmed his readiness to leave Naturena, moments ago.
CHIEFS LEGEND HEADING OUT OF NATURENA
Now, he has personally admitted that he is open to playing for another club, according to the kosibay news
Amakhosi’s legend has served the club for the better part of a decade.
However, his days at Naturena are numbered. The ‘Tower‘ has fallen out of favour with Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard and he wants to go to a club where he can play regularly. Finishing his final years as a player, playing as much as possible.
MATHOHO IS OPEN TO LEAVING NATURENA
“The thing is that he knows he does not have that many years left to play. He wants to be on the field playing at his age but it is not happening at Chiefs,” a relevant source confirmed.
Mathoho needs to think about his own career. At Amakhosi, he is unlikely to become a regular starter again after falling behind the likes of Zitha Kwinika, Siyabonga Ngezana, Njabulo Ngcobo and Edmilson Dove.
“That’s why he is open to a move away, but he is yet to sit down with the management and discuss his future,” the source confirmed.
Mathoho is likely to leave Chiefs in the January transfer window. However, he should have no problem finding a new club given his experience.
