Former Kaizer Chiefs player Junior Khanye suggests that Khama Billiat faced challenges finding a club in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) due to what he refers to as a “spiritual problem” at Amakhosi. Billiat, who left Chiefs when his contract ended in June last year, has now joined Yadah Stars FC in Zimbabwe in hopes of revitalizing his career.
Khanye expressed his thoughts on Billiat’s situation, stating, “The spiritual problem at Kaizer Chiefs that I was talking about is also affecting the players.” Despite acknowledging Billiat’s talent, Khanye finds it perplexing that the player struggled to secure a club in the PSL. He wished Billiat success at his new club in Zimbabwe.
Billiat’s move to Yadah Stars FC comes after a period of uncertainty following his departure from Chiefs. His inability to find a club in the PSL led him to explore opportunities outside South Africa’s top-flight football.
