Nasreddine Nabi in search of a top-quality striker, AS FAR Rabat best attacker, Orebonye, popularly known by the nickname Benteke, has offered himself.
However, the Botswana international emphasized that a move to Naturena can happen only if his financial desires are met in an interview with one of the leading publications in South Africa, Soccer Laduma.
“Yeah, there have been reports about me moving to Chiefs in South Africa, and I don’t have a problem with that. But there has been no offer at the moment. If the offer can be good, I don’t see any problem (as to) why I can’t join Chiefs. Yes, I know the coach, and I know the team since I am from Botswana, but what is important is money. If the money is good, I can move to Chiefs,” Orebonye told Soccer Laduma.
The lethal striker is well into his late 20s, and he has highlighted that he is looking for financial freedom more than anything.

“I am 28 years old now, and I don’t want to play until 40 years just because I didn’t make enough money now. In a few years’ time, when I retire, I should invest the money in my own things, so moving to South Africa would not be a problem. But as I have said, it has to be the right offer because I still have a valid contact here in Morroco.
The attacker’s contract with Rabat ends at the end of the 2025-2026 season, meaning he will be around 30 by the time his contract expires
Meanwhile, Amakhosi has little time to ponder over a decision to sign the striker or not, as he is set to return to Morocco today for the start of the 2024-2025 pre-season
