Mamelodi Sundowns has revealed the reasons they signed Terrence Mashego saying he is a quality player and his qualities couldn’t be avoided.
Terrence Mashego who busrt into the scene in 2019 with Ts Galaxy has been a revelation in the PSL in the past 2 seasons bringing consistent perfomances which earned him a place in the National Team.
Terrence Mashego born in Mamelodi is one of the players scouted from Varsity Football and has since lived up to expectations as he earned a move to Cape Town City after just 1 season with Ts Galaxy in the Top Flight football.
Fast forward two seasons later Terrence Mashego has joined South Africa’s elite Club that has won the league 5times in a row with the Club looking to strengthen their team for the season.
Terrence Mashego who was heavily linked with Kaizer Chiefs in the Transfer Window couldn’t join Kaizer Chiefs due to the alleged gentleman agreement between Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns as Cape Town City joins Supersport United as one of the teams that have appointed themselves to be Mamelodi Sundowns feeder team.
Rhulani Mokoena couldn’t hide anything when asked about Terrence Mashego saying he was signed because they feared he might go to other teams as strengthen them Mokoena couldn’t give a clear explanation why Mashego was signed and what he will bring to the Mamelodi Sundowns side.
