It now looks like TEN more Kaizer Chiefs players could be following Erick Mathoho out of Naturena. Here’s the fully updated list.
Mathoho has officially bid farewell to Amakhosi after 11 years of devoted and memorable service.
However, his exit is just the beginning of what is set to be a squad overhaul at Naturena. Here are TEN more players who are likely to leave as well…
CHIEFS FANS TO SAY GOODBYE TO EIGHT MORE PLAYERS?
Phathushedzo Nange, Cole Alexander, Caleb-Bonfils Bimenyimana, George Matlou and Kamohelo Mahlatsi have all been linked with exits owing to their lack of playing time under Arthur Zwane in the PSL.
Furthermore, Sabelo Radebe will be sent out on loan while Darrell Matsheke and Amakhosi have agreed to part ways after his loan spell with Moroka Swallows.
Austin Dube and Njabulo Blom are in the same boat with the imminent arrivals of Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and Given Msimango placing them even further down the pecking order.
Therefore, both these men will need to find another club if they are to feature regularly next season.
TWO HUGE PLAYER CONTRACTS UNDER DISCUSSION
Itumeleng Khune and Khama Billiats contracts expire at the end of June.
However, neither player has received a contract extension option as yet.
Both players futures are currently being discussed. Amakhosi management are willing to keep Billiat but under one condition – he accepts a massive pay-cut. Meaning, we could see him leave. While they are yet to decide on Khune’s future.
