Coach Molefi Ntseki of the Kaizer Chiefs is aware that he may lose his job by tomorrow when he announces his goals for the team.
The new Amakhosi head coach assumed that the control of the Chiefs’ coaching duties after Arthur Zwane was reduced to the position of assistant coach in the off-season.
He stated his goal to take the Soweto giants, Chiefs, to the CAF Champions League in an interview with Thabiso Mosia of Radio 2000.

NTSEKI ON CHIEFS MANDATE: AWARE HE COULD BE FIRED BY TOMORROW
Ntseki, a former Bafana Bafana coach, declared that his main goal is to immediately have an impact at Naturena.
In addition to making numerous fresh freshmen, Chiefs also introduced a new kit ahead of the 2023–24 DStv Premiership season.
Regarding the amount of time I have been given, it is irrelevant. You can be hired today and fired tomorrow, Ntseki warned.
“As for how much time I’ve been given, time is neither here or there. You can be hired today and gone tomorrow,” said Ntseki.
“As for the mandate, it’s very simple. We must start by delivering good performances which will produce good results and that will then lead us into competing for the league and returning to the Champions League.”
NTSEKI, CHIEFS BOSS, ON TRANSFER PLAN
Given that the Chiefs have added players like Mduduzi Mdantsane, Edson Castillo, and Given Msimango to strengthen their ranks, Ntseki stated that the Chiefs are not done hunting.
He went on to stress that they would not be lazy and that many changes might still be made during the upcoming campaign.
“In the transfer market, I can’t say we are done yet. A lot of things can happen during the season, injuries or loss of form, so we always have to be prepared for any eventuality,” added Ntseki.
“We will continue working hard to get the right composition of the squad.”
Amakhosi will begin their league season against Chippa United on Sunday, August 6, at the venerable Moses Mabhida Stadium.
