CHIEFS MANAGEMENT WANT MNGQITHI
Amakhosi management are looking at possibly hiring former Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Mngqithi.
”The outcomes of the meeting has been kept under wraps; however, the Siya crew has been informed that whispers in the corridors at Naturena is that the club is considering current Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach Manqoba Mngqithi,” the insider confirmed on SoccerLaduma.
He is the perfect fit for Amakhosi given that he is senior coach who has tasted success at the highest level in the PSL with Sundowns.
However, if Amakhosi are successful in signing Mngqithi their chances of signing Jali will dramatically increase.
HOW MNGQITHI MOVE COULD FACILATATE POSSIBLE JALI SIGNING
First things first, the reason Amakhosi opted against signing Jali was because of Arthur Zwane.
Moreover, Zwane’s stance against alcohol and poor discipline meant that Jali’s drunk training incident put him off completely.
However, if Mngqithi takes over then Jali could be given a clean slate. Furthermore, when he was co-coach at Sundowns, Jali was a regular starter in his starting line-up so Mngqithi is very fond of Jali.
