Kaizer Chiefs R4Million bid for KZN based defender has been revealed.
With the 2022/2023 season about to come to an end with only 2 games remaining it comes as no surprise that a number of teams are already working on a number of signings.
Kaizer Chiefs had already started doing their business from as early as January when they managed to capture the signing of SuperSport United best Defend Thatoyane Dithlokwe from Botswana who has made great impact since arriving in the country Thatoyane Dithlokwe penned a pre contract in January with the Soweto Giants a decision which was met with criticism from the SuperSport United management.
Dithlokwe who is lefr footed has been playing as a Left Footed Centre back and as a starter at SuperSport for more than 3 season having cemented his place in the team following departures of some of the Club’s experienced defenders.
Dithlokwe will be joined by another fellow Centre Back as Given Msimango a boy from Brakpan Gauteng is also on his way to Naturena after signing on a four year deal the duo are most likely to be paired together next season as the Club looks to beef up areas lacking in Defense.
However the latest news reachi 45min is that the Club has sent an offer rumoured to be at the value of R4 Million to AmaZulu forbthe services of on e of the top Left Backs in the League.
Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be after the signing of Rian Hanamub from AmaZulu as they set to beef up their left back position as Sifiso Hlanti seems to have gone unchallenged in that role since he arrived.
Rian Hanamub known for his relentless workrate and giving his heart out on the field of play burst into the scene with Chippa United last season when he made his presence felt which led to AmaZulu spotting his amazing talent and signing him from Chippa United.
The Left Footed Namibian has lived up to expectations at AmaZulu helping them both defensively and offensively being touted as one of the best in the League.
Hanamub was spotted by Kaizer Chiefs scouts after those 4games the Club played whereby Hanamub kept Kaizer Chiefs attackers at bay shutting the back door leaving nothing unattended.
Rian Hanamub is a fully National Team player as he represent Namibia at National Team level and being a regular player in his nation’s colours for over 3years now.
Kaizer Chiefs though will be facing stiff competition for his services as it’s also rumoured that arch rivals Orlando Pirates are said to be sniffing around for Hanamub’s services which means if the Soweto Giants wants the deal done they would have to act fast.
Kaizer Chiefs have struggled for years to replace veteran Left Back Tsepo Masilela and the position has proven to be a burden as a number of reserve teams players were given opportunities including the likes of Siphosakhe Ntiya Ntiya,Happy Mashiane while player’s like Lehlogonolo Mirwa,Sibusiso Mabiliso were signed over the years.
However the Left Back that made headlines is Kenyan Defender Godfrey Walusimbi who arrived on a R2Milliom fee from Kenya and also failed to live up to expectations before being shipped out.
Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to find a quality left back as the struggle to strengthen their team and certain positions seems to be addressed by the new look Kaizer Chiefs team which consists of first timers most people who are learning on the job.
