Kaizer Chiefs winger Keagan Dolly could be out of the club when his contract expires at the end of the current DStv Premiership season.
The 30-year-old’s future at Chiefs hangs in the balance and with injuries limiting his game-time, he could be in a situation similar to ex-teammate Khama Billiat.
The Zimbabwean winger left Amakhosi before the start of the season after reportedly refusing to take a pay cut in his new contract.
According to reports, Kaizer Chiefs are open to negotiating with Dolly, but his hefty salary could make it difficult for both parties to find a middle ground.

“For now, all talks are still ongoing as all the involved parties are looking at the best way forward. I can’t say it’s a foregone conclusion on anything that will come out of the negotiations. You know such talks take time depending on what the club wants from the player and what the players need from the club. But yeah, talks will continue and we don’t know until when,” Soccer Laduma said in a report.
Dolly was on the sideline for most of the season but returned in October. After playing a handful of games, the former Bafana Bafana man was again injured in a Soweto Derby match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
