Kaizer Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson has responded to recent reports suggesting turmoil within the club, particularly focusing on allegations of alcohol-related misconduct and racism.

Addressing the media after Kaizer Chiefs’ 1-0 victory over Swallows on Sunday afternoon, Johnson dismissed the allegations as an attempt to tarnish the club’s esteemed reputation.
“Reports of ‘racism’ and ‘alcohol’ problems at the club are baseless attempts to undermine the massive brand that is Kaizer Chiefs,” stated Johnson, asserting the team’s commitment to maintaining a positive image.
In a separate development, long-serving goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is reportedly facing suspension and demotion due to alleged misconduct. According to an exclusive report by FARPost, Khune was caught arriving for training under the influence of alcohol.
The club’s management has taken a decisive stance against Khune’s behavior, expressing “extreme disappointment” and deeming his actions “unacceptable.” Steps are reportedly being taken to initiate severe disciplinary action, including suspension and demotion.
