Insider reports suggest that Kaizer Chiefs are actively pursuing SuperSport United midfielder Grant Margerman and are planning to clear space for him amid ongoing preparations and player assessments.
Margerman, who has been on Chiefs’ radar since his time at Mamelodi Sundowns and during his tenure at SuperSport United, is seen as a key target to bolster the squad for the upcoming season.
Sources have disclosed that Kaizer Chiefs are seriously interested in SuperSport United midfielder Grant Margerman. “Grant (Margerman) is one of the midfielders they have been monitoring.
They have actually inquired about him from SuperSport,” a source revealed. “It’s still early to say whether the talks have begun or not but interest is there and they have been monitoring him.
“In anticipation of Margerman’s potential arrival, Chiefs are actively strategizing to create room within their squad. A second source close to the technical team provided insights into their preparations, highlighting the club’s efforts to accommodate Margerman ahead of the new season.
They are working on opening up space (in the squad) to accommodate him. And have identified some of the players who they could loan out so that they can bring him in,” the insider revealed. “They are really interested in him and they are working hard to land his signature.”
The potential acquisition of Margerman could significantly enhance Chiefs’ midfield options and inject new dynamics into their gameplay for the upcoming season.
