Kaizer Chiefs has officially announced the appointment of Cavin Johnson, ex-Ahly Coach, as their new head of academy.
ex-Ahly Coach Johnson, who previously provided guidance in an advisory capacity at Motsepe Foundation Championship team NB La Masia, brings a wealth of experience in South African football.
Having been mentored by the late Ted Dumitru, Johnson boasts an impressive coaching career, having held positions at reputable clubs such as Platinum Stars, SuperSport United, AmaZulu, and Black Leopards. Furthermore, he gained valuable experience during his tenure at Al Ahly, where he served as an assistant alongside Pitso Mosimane for a season.
With this appointment, Kaizer Chiefs has strategically chosen an individual with extensive expertise to lead their development initiatives. He will also take charge of the scouting department
