After 999 matches, Hunt boasts a record of 416 wins, 287 draws, and 296 losses, with his teams scoring an impressive 1291 goals while conceding 1037.
At 60 years old, Hunt’s coaching journey spans an amazing 27 seasons without interruption. His success includes four league titles—three with SuperSport United between 2008 and 2010, and one with Bidvest Wits in 2017.
Reflecting on his career ahead of this big moment, 60 year old coach shared, “It’s amazing how time flies. I can still remember the first game.”
Today, Hunt’s SuperSport United will face off against Golden Arrows, with both teams currently tied on 20 points. It promises to be an exciting encounter as Hunt looks to add to his already impressive legacy in South African football.
