Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town Spurs are involved in a compelling relationship. During the current signing period, a third Kabo Yellow star might choose the Urban Warriors.
CAPE TOWN SPURS TO SIGN LUKHUBENI FROM MAMELODI SUNDOWNS?
The 27-year-old Lukhubeni was deemed unfit for the champions by Kabo Yellow after playing 25 games for Moroka Swallows on loan last season.
The quick full-back from Kraaipan in the North West has arrived in Cape Town, according to Mazola Molefe of the SABC.
“Mamelodi Sundowns have agreed to send out defender and youth academy product Nicholas Lukhubeni on yet another loan spell, with SABC Sport informed Cape Town Spurs are favourites to sign the player,” the report said.
If the agreement is finalized, Lukhubeni will become a member of his sixth loan team, joining Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, Sekhukhune United, Maritzburg United, and Swallows.
Spurs have signed two Sundowns players on a loan for the next campaign.
