Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has made an admission about TS Galaxy after the clubs played out to a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.
Keagan Dolly came to the rescue for Amakhosi, scoring a late equaliser to prevent what looked like a second consecutive defeat.
The result saw the Soweto giants remain in fifth position in the DStv Premiership standings with 18 points after 12 games.
Zwane admitted the Rockets were in control for most parts of the game.
ZWANE REACTS TO DRAW WITH TS GALAXY
“The game was evenly balanced because it was more sort of like a toe to toe thing but they were like in control, they could have maybe scored another goal from that moment,” Zwane told SuperSport TV after the game.
“And then second half, [at the] half time, we had to make the boys realise that we’re playing for our lives here and I think second half was far much better.
“I think I can’t remember Bruce [Bvuma] making a save except for what they tried to do in terms of getting the crosses in because of the height that they have in [Djakaridja] Traore.
“But I think [in the] second half, we we exerted ourselves in terms of the chances that we created again, the same story of the past games where we’re not clinical in front of goals but I’m happy with the the boys especially second half.
“We still have to work on ourselves because we scoring goals but we’re conceding soft goals.”
