Brighton are aware of Chelsea’s interest in Moises Caicedo. The Blues want to sign him to strengthen their midfield but the Seagulls will not make it easy for them as they are demanding £100 million for his transfer, according to ‘The Telegraph’.
The Blues made a £65 million opening bid to Brighton & Hove Albion to sign Moises Caicedo in the summer transfer window but their offer was rejected
Chelsea tried again and reportedly offered £80 million. Their improved second offer was well considered. However, the Seagulls are aware of Declan Rice’s transfer to Arsenal and that they could ask more for their star midfielder’s signing.
As a result, according to ‘The Telegraph’, Roberto De Zerbi’s side will ask Chelsea for £100 million to secure his services for next campaign.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are rebuilding their midfield after selling Mason Mount, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic in the summer transfer window. Caicedo is their top priority at the moment and negotiations are progressing.
