According to ‘CBS Sport’, Brighton & Hove Albion and Roma are interested in signing Scott McTominay next season. The Red Devils are willing to sell the long-serving midfielder in the summer.
Scott McTominay is the forgotten man in the Manchester United squad. The Scot has started just ten Premier League games under Erik ten Hag. The Dutch manager has relied on Casemiro and Christian Eriksen during the past season and has given him very few opportunities.
As a result, the board are willing to sell the 26-year-old in the summer transfer window. The midfielder has been playing for Manchester United since 2015.
The Scotland international has played 208 appearances for the first team, scoring 18 goals and assisting five times. He has also played for Manchester United’s youth teams.
According to ‘CBS Sport’, McTominay could end his time at Old Trafford this summer as Brighton & Hove Albion and Roma are interested in him. The Seagulls want to sign him to replace Moises Caicedo, who is likely to join Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho would like the Scot to play in a Roma shirt next season. The Portuguese manager already knows the midfielder from his time in charge of the Red Devils.
