Kaizer Chiefs’ promising young talent, Puso Dithejane, has found a new home in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) as he joins TS Galaxy in a move aimed at propelling his career to new heights.
The 19-year-old right-back, who garnered significant attention for his skills and potential, was released by Amakhosi amid a disciplinary issue, stemming from his refusal, along with some Chiefs players, to act as ball boys during a Carling Knockout Cup match against AmaZulu FC in August.
Dithejane’s journey to Galaxy has been characterized by controversy and a search for a club that can nurture his talent. The Tim Sukazi-owned club is known for its dedication to developing young players, and the path of Aphelele Teto, who moved to Scottish side Livingston on a four-year contract, serves as an attractive precedent for Dithejane.
The move highlights Galaxy’s commitment to fostering young talents, and Dithejane’s signing underlines his status as one of South Africa’s most promising youth players. His decision to join Galaxy was influenced by the desire for regular playing time, a crucial factor for his development. As he embarks on this new chapter with the Rockets, fans eagerly await to witness the growth and transformation of this young football prodigy, who has already represented South Africa at the youth level and aspires to one day make his mark in Bafana Bafana.
