It’s still early to say whether the talks have begun or not, but interest is there and they have been monitoring him.” The insider also mentioned that Chiefs are actively working on creating space within the squad to accommodate Margeman, including plans to loan out some of their existing midfielders.

“It is always possible [to move to the PSL], especially when the transfer window is open,” said Cele during the COSAFA Cup in Durban. “And I won’t lie, it’s something that you consider because sometimes you find it tough [abroad], and you think about all other things.” Last year, Cele attracted interest from several clubs, including Sekhukhune, AS FAR Rabat, AmaZulu, and St Louis City. Ironically, Cele has been viewed as a long-term replacement for Njabulo Blom, who joined St Louis at the end of 2022.
