Given Msimango: Biography, Salary, Net Worth, Cars, Age, Girlfriend, Career and Lifestyle

Given Msimango, a South African footballer, currently represents both Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana. Celebrating his 26th birthday on May 4th, 2023, the former TS Galaxy captain has ample years ahead of him in his career, potentially spanning another decade or beyond.

Football Career

Given Msimango's football career lacks a lengthy history. He initially played for Tembisa's team, Highlands Park, until the club was purchased by businessman Tim Sukazi in 2020. Sukazi, a prominent Ndebele entrepreneur, previously owned a Premier Soccer League (PSL) club, though they competed in a lower division. Subsequently, Highlands Park sold their PSL status to TS Galaxy around three years ago, opting to acquire a position in the SAB League, the fourth tier of South African football. Msimango transitioned to TS Galaxy along with the club's purchase. Unlike some teammates such as Peter Shalulile and Mothobi Mvala, who were transferred to other teams, Msimango stayed and flourished at TS Galaxy. Despite being only 26, he has emerged as one of the club's standout players and has even been entrusted with leadership responsibilities.

His move to Kaizer Chiefs

Various sources, including SABC Sport, have indicated that the defender, originally from Gauteng, is set to join the Glamour Boys. Prior to the June transfer window opening, club owner Tim Sukazi indirectly confirmed that the talented defender has been sold to Kaizer Chiefs. Sukazi clarified that financial struggles were not the reason for the sale to Kaizer Chiefs; rather, it was to provide the player with greater opportunities to showcase his skills at Amakhosi. He emphasized that being at TS Galaxy made it difficult for even South African national team head coach Hugo Broos to take notice of him, whereas at Kaizer Chiefs, he would likely feature in one or two matches before receiving a national call-up.

Girlfriend

Msimango is in a relationship with a woman named Bontle Makgalo. On Valentine's Day, the captain of TS Galaxy posted a photo of her, mentioning that they have been a couple for four years.

Net Worth

To be frank, Given Msimango secured his inaugural significant deal with Kaizer Chiefs towards the close of the previous season. Presently, his earnings aren't comparable to what he will soon be making at ePhefeni. Given Msimango's net worth stands at approximately R3 million.

Previous Salary

The estimate amount he was earning at TS Galaxy was just around R50 000. However, that has now changed as he has joined Kaizer Chiefs.

How much will he earn at Kaizer Chiefs?

Well, that one is still unknown. However, we have estimated that the talented defender will be earning around R150 000, or even more. That is the average salary of Amakhosi senior players.

Cars

It's widely known that Given Msimango has a keen eye for both fashion and automobiles. Presently, he possesses one of Volkswagen's newest Golf 7.5 GTI models.
