Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has confirmed that he will be giving a rare chance to one of his unused players.
Zwane has so much on his mind as head coach at Chiefs with so much squad depth and pressure.
However, despite featuring in two tournaments, there is a player that has not featured yet this season. Therefore, Zwane wants to give this talented Amakhosi a chance to earn some rare gametime.
UNUSED CHIEFS PLAYER TO EARN SOME GAMETIME
Zwane has confirmed that he will be giving Austin Dube a chance to feature this season.
This, after realizing that he has not played a single minute this season.

“There’s no doubt [Ngcobo and Dube] are good players,” Zwane stated on the kosibay news.
Therefore, Zwane is aware of the talent of these players. Furthermore, it is a long process to find the perfect centre back pairing.
Njabulo Ngcobo initially featured with Zitha Kwinika but the pair also leaked in costly goals at the back.
However, Dube is yet to feature under Zwane since he was appointed as head coach of Amakhosi. Therefore, Dube is well down the Chiefs pecking order with Kwinika, Siyabonga Ngezana and Edmilson Dove ahead of him.
Zwane will give these players – and others – a chance, he confirmed.
“So their time will come like any other players, there are many other players who are not playing, of which I believe they also deserve to play, but right now we need to build a team that will help others also settle and feel at home,” Zwane said.
“At the moment the spirit is high in the camp, everyone feels wanted and important and they know their team will come and most definitely when it comes they will be ready to perform,” Zwane added.
Therefore, Dube will get his chance. Remember, Amakhosi will be involved in three different competitions so there is an opportunity to give others players a chance to impress. Amakhosi are involved in the DStv Premiership, MTN8 and the Carling Cup.
