According to the ‘Daily Mail’, Manchester City will not raise their bid for Declan Rice. The Gunners have offered £105 million and it is highly likely they will sign the English midfielder in the summer.
West Ham are waiting for Manchester City to beat Arsenal’s £105 million bid for Declan Rice. However, the Sky Blues have pulled out of the race for him, according to the ‘Daily Mail’.
Pep Guardiola thought the Englishman could play alongside Rodri to bolster City’s midfield following Ilkay Gundogan’s departure but they are unwilling to pay more than £100 million for his transfer.
The Hammers have not yet accepted Arsenal’s new offer but are likely to be considering it as the bid exceeds their expectations. Rice could play at the Emirates Stadium next term, fulfilling his desire to stay in London for the next few years.
The Gunners want to revamp their midfield at all costs in order to have a competitive team next season in both the Champions League and the Premier League. Kai Havertz is also one of the top targets.
