Kaizer Chiefs managed to score just 25 goals in 30 league matches, whereas Orlando Pirates scored 44 goals, and Mamelodi Sundowns netted 52 times.

To remedy their attacking woes, Nasreddine Nabi is pushing to sign two lethal attackers for Kaizer Chiefs.
According to a close source, Nabi has requested the club to sign Tumisang Orebonye, a Botswana international, and Fiston Mayele, a former Yanga SC striker from DR Congo currently with Pyramids FC in Egypt.
However, there are doubts about signing Mayele due to his high asking price of $1.2 million (R22 million), which the club feels is too much.
