According to journalist Miguel Rico, the striker will announce his new destination in the next few hours as he has already told Barcelona that he will not return to Catalonia because he will be joining Inter Miami.
Both Messi and his inner circle wanted to return to the Catalan side. His father revealed this after a meeting with Joan Laporta. However, the Catalan giants have several financial problems and the World Cup winner has had to turn down their proposal.
Al Hilal are also interested in signing the 35-year-old and presented him with a huge offer but Messi preferred to wait for Barcelona to receive their offer. The Argentinian star could join David Beckham’s side in the next few hours.
