The January transfer window is drawing up, and an experienced defender is expected to exit the club.
Thabani Dube has received little playing time under coach Zwane despite his devotion to the team, and several South African top-flight teams have shown interest in him. There haven’t been any talks about Dube’s future with Kaizer Chiefs, according to his agent Basia Michaels, but the player is considering his alternatives.
Dube joined Kaizer Chiefs in 2021, but with limited playing time, it seems likely that he will leave the club before his contract expires. Coach Zwane is focused on building the team around younger players, which has resulted in limited opportunities for the veteran defender.
Despite the circumstances, Dube still adores the club and would desire to remain if feasible, according to Michaels. However, the management and coaching staff of Kaizer Chiefs ultimately decide the player’s destiny. Dube may have to quit the club he adores if they are unwilling to explore offers for his services.
