Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has spoken out ahead of their Nedbank Cup clash against Royal AM, admitting that this particular team has troubled his side the most in recent times.
Despite his recent bold claim that Chiefs are the ‘second best’ team in the league, Zwane was uncharacteristically cautious about their upcoming opponents, having lost three out of their previous four matches against the Spice People.
The two sides are set to meet at the Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday evening for a highly-anticipated Nedbank Cup last-eight showdown.
In an interview with Daily South African, the Kaizer Chiefs coach revealed that they have been closely analysing their opponents and are focusing on creating chances and scoring goals.
“We don’t stop working hard and creating chances. It’s better to create chances than not create at all. We know if we create chances we have chances of scoring and winning games. So we are going into this Nedbank Cup with the aim of winning and progressing to the next round,” said Zwane.
This promises to be an exciting match-up between two strong teams, with both sides determined to come out on top.
