Award-Winning Star Training with Chiefs First Team!

Chiefs will be locking horns with stellenbosch over the weekend for the MTN8 cup. Nothing positive yet regarding Du Preez and Bonfils-Caleb's status. Chiefs are still without a natural striker.

Billiat and Dolly did well under Baxter. Who was playing transitional football. It allowed them to have more space. They contributed a lot in terms of assists and goals. There was too much over-reliance on both players.

Under Zwane's leadership, they are playing a different system it is yet to prove fruitful for both attackers.

Chiefs might need a striker asap while waiting for Caleb's paperwork. Shabalala is busy with his studies he can't be available all the time.

Bonfils-Caleb is still waiting for his work permit.

According to a source a lethal striker who won Diski challenge most improved player awards is currently training with the first team.

Wandile Duba comes from Chiefs development. He helps the youth team win both the Engen cup and the Diski shield tournament. He scored some crucial goals during both tournament.

His performance together with his teammates saw an increasing number of people attending the games at the stadium

When they won the Disk Shield cup. Mduduzi Shabalala was impressed with Wandile Duba's performance.

He wished that he could get a chance to be promoted to the senior side.
It seems like his wish might come true.
Duba has started to train with Kaizer Chiefs' first team.

Chiefs still has a chance to register the player with the PSL. To use him in the first team when they play in the league and Cup games.

They are still monitoring him. A decision could be made in the near future.
Billiat and Dolly are natural wingers. They are not natural strikers. They could take some time to adjust to Zwane's system.
