The Kaizer Chiefs academy is known for producing some of the best young talent in the country. Head of Technical and Youth Development Molefe Ntseki has identified six players who are expected to play key roles in the club’s future.
These players have helped the Chiefs’ youth team dominate the local scene, winning numerous trophies. The success of the academy is evident in the number of academy graduates who have gone on to play for the first team. It is clear that the Kaizer Chiefs academy is an important source of talent for the club and will continue to be so in the future.
Six players that Ntseki tipped to Carry Kaizer Chiefs at their back
- Takalani Mazamba (15-year-old goalkeeper)
- Thulani Mabaso (15-year-old midfielder),
- Mfundo Vilakazi (18-year-old attacking midfielder),
- Siyabonga Gumede, (18-year-old central defender),
- Puso Dithejane, (18-yearold right wing back)
- Neo Bohloko (14- year-old striker)
Our academy currently has many excellent players. I have chosen six players from a group of hardworking, highly talented young players. When considering them as a whole, we are very positive about the type of players coming through the system,” Ntseki told the club’s official website.
