Ronaldo out. Mbappe in for Man United

Manchester United have identified Kylian Mbappe as an immediate replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

This comes after the Manchester United's Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo bashed the club's management and coach on a public interview with journalist Piers Morgan. It all looks like he is set to be let gone of at the Red Devils.

The 37-years old did an interview revealing secrets and even stating blatantly that he doesn't respect Man United coach Erik Ten Hag leaving a lot of Manchester United fans and legends awe. Whilst also bashing the club's owners (The Glazers) for not taking the football club seriously.

“I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you,” Ronaldo said.

Of the owners – The Glazers – Ronaldo said: “Manchester are a marketing club – they get money from the marketing. It will be hard for Manchester to be top of the game in the next two or three years.

“The owners of the club, the Glazers, they don’t care about the club, professional sport.”

These statements left a lot of mixed emotions in the football space. Manchester United are still waiting for the full interview to be dropped so they can be able to take action on the matter.

Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag has been reported by @ESPN to have asked for the Portuguese striker to never play for Manchester United again. He has asked for the star to be let gone of as soon as possible.

The Manchester United board are set to hold internal talks in the next few days and come up with a conclusion in which it is expected to be the letting go of the striker. And Manchester United have already identified a possible replacement for him.

Erik Ten Hag is reported by @DailySportUK to be a very big fan of Paris St. Germain and French International striker Kylian Mbappe. The 23 years old has been listed as a top target to replace Cristiano. As much as many might not see it happen, but it is possible.

Manchester United are one of the few clubs who can afford to pay the £150m price tag of the starlet. Considering that they will be letting go of a Cristiano Ronaldo whom was getting a whooping £500,000 per week. Kylian Mbappe is considered to desire a salary of around £400,000 to £500,000. Meaning Manchester United will be able to afford his salary. Hence Manchester United are already planning to sign the French sensation.

It is no secret that Manchester United is one the biggest giants in world football. Many big football stars would wish to don the Red Devils' shirt, it would be no surprise to see Kylian Mbappe being interested in joining the magnificent football club, with him being rumoured to be unhappy at the Paris based side.

He is a proven goalscorer, at a young age he has already surpassed 100+ goals for Paris St. Germain, in which it is something Manchester United would be looking to add in their squad citing their recent goalscoring misfortunes.

Many question the timing of Cristiano's interview but sources have indicated that the Portuguese star planned this so he can force his way out of the Manchester side. He will be looking to use the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 to earn some interest from a UEFA Champions League club. Chelsea are among the clubs who might be looking to add Cristiano Ronaldo into their squad after a not so great start from both their strikers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Armando Broja.

The World Cup starts in 5 days time and Portugal are amongst the considered favourites to win the tournament. Cristiano Ronaldo will be hoping to lead his country to their first ever World Cup trophy. He will be gunning to score a lot of goals in the tournament.
