This week has brought confirmation of former Barcelona star Neymar Jr.'s hopes of making a return to the club.
Barcelona have told Neymar that he must score 15 goals for Santos before they can consider signing him again, according to SPORT.
It is understood that the La Liga giants are monitoring Neymar’s situation.
The 33-year-old moved to Santos from Al-Hilal in January, but there could be a plan for him to return to the Nou Camp.
Neymar’s deal with the Brazilian club will expire in June, and he will be free to join whichever club he wants.
But Barcelona want the player to prove he can get back to his pre-injury best before they entertain the idea of adding him to Hansi Flick’s team.
Neymar won the Champions League with Barca in 2015 but left in 2017 to join Paris Saint-Germain.
He is reportedly eager to make the return to the Catalan club, where he enjoyed the happiest days of his career.
