Orlando Pirates complete signing of World Cup bound striker

Orlando Pirates have completed the signing of Cameroon International striker Marou Souadibou

The 21-years old CotonSport striker has been included in the Indomitable Lions World Cup 2022 travelling to Qatar. The CotonSport topscorer is reported to have sealed a move to recentntly crowned MTN Champions Orlando Pirates

After scoring 11 goals in the Cameroonian Elite One season. The youngster has became a fan favourite, netting a total of 30 goals for CotonSport in only 61 games. The move has came as a surprise for football fans with Orlando Pirates already having 6 strikers in Zakhele Lepasa, Kermit Erasmus, Kwame Peprah, Bienvenu Eva Nga, Evidence Makgopa and Terrence Dzukamanja. With a Ndumiso Mabena also touted to sign a contract very soon.

Orlando Pirates are reported to have splashed a total of £200,000(R3million) on the lethal young prospect. He is set to fly straight to South Africa after the FIFA World Cup and officially be announced in January.

He boasts of a lot of International football as the Cameroonian U23 captain and having scored a total of 4 goals for CotonSport in CAF Preliminary Stages.
