Molefi Ntseki Hints Bonfils Caleb Bimneyimana to Stay at Kaizer Chiefs for the Season

The Burundi international was put up for sale, drawing interest from Ukraine and Poland until Wydad Atheltic Club accepted a proposal in the region of R3 million in a verbal agreement.

Bimenyimana then flew to Casablanca last Sunday to negotiate personal terms, but returned this week after the appointment of new head coach Adil Ramzi appeared to soften their stance on their quest.

According to iDiski Times sources, Bouly Sambou's refusal to join the UAE Pro League further delayed the transfer because he was supposed to be the replacement signing ahead of the King Salman Cup.

“Caleb [Bimenyimana] is with us now, we were just training today, he’s with us,” said Ntseki, when asked about his return by iDiski Times.

“We wish him all the best of luck as a Kaizer Chiefs player. Hopefully, he will turn things around this season.”

Bimneyimana, the club's top scorer with eight goals last season, returned to training on Wednesday, the day of the debut of new Kappa uniform.
