Mkhulise and Andile Jali to Kaizer Chiefs As Junior Khanye Shares His Thoughts

Junior Khanye shares his thoughts on Kaizer Chiefs' decision to allow Njabulo Blom to leave the team and how the club has handled their incoming transfer business. Junior Khanye believes that it was a mistake to release Blom, who had matured within the team's development, and suggests that the club should have used the money from the Blom deal to pursue players like Siphelele Mkhulise and Andile Jali.

Kaizer Chiefs, in the opinion of Junior Khanye, should not have permitted Njabulo Blom to quit the team in the manner that they did.

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Andile Jali

Junior Khanye not only disagrees with the club's choice to let Blom leave, but he also has negative things to say about how they handled their incoming transfer business.

"The club's scouting department is a concern for me. They signed players like Siyethemba Sithebe yet had nothing to give. Yusuf Maart was a player, but he also had his flaws. There is nothing he can offer Phathusedzo Nange. George Matlou has nothing to give. Blom is the only one who has so far been able to raise their hand.

So, sure, it was a grave error to release a player who had matured within their own development. To be honest, only a select few South African football players are capable of playing for the Chiefs. With the money they received from the Blom deal, they ought to have purchased Siphelele Mkhulise or Andile Jali.
