Kaizer Chiefs set to promote DDC star players after impressing when part of the first team.
45min can reveal that Kaizer Chiefs is considering promoting two Dstv Diski Challenge players to the senior team after impressing when training with seniors.
Kaizer Chiefs under coach Arthur Zwane have taken a different direction as they look to give young player’s from the reserve team an opportunity to impress.
Kaizer Chiefs have been mixing some of their DDC top performers with the senior team to give them the feel of playing in a high intensity level and physical level.
Kaizer Chiefs this season have already promoted three player’s from their reserve team with youngster Mduduzi Shabalala having cemented his place into the Kaizer Chiefs starting Lineup.
Wandile Duba and Samkelo Zwane have also been training with the senior team and appearing on the team sheet Samkelo Zwane has been handed three starts this season while overall has 7th appearances for the Club.
However 45min have been informed that two DDC defenders are on their way to the first team Kaizer Chiefs reserve team centre back Siyabonga Gumede is said to have impressed head Coach Arthur Zwane with his physicality and man marking skills it has been revealed that Kaizer Chiefs sees it’s future with the 18 years old centre back who has represented the National team from junior ranks.
Another player tipped for promotion is a player that has been making headlines for the past few weeks Puso Hakimi Dithejane who has impressed in his wing Back role.
According to 45min Hakimi was tippednto get some minutes but a knock meant the young defender had to watch from the sides as he couldn’t train for two weeks.
Kaizer Chiefs are in a different dimension and look set to use more of their development time.. giving them a chance to show cast their talent with the senior team.
