Kaizer Chiefs rejected a player from their rival.

Amakhosi FC were given an offer to sign their former reserve team player Given Thibedi, who joined Swallows FC after leaving Chiefs. Chiefs rejected the offer as the technical team felt that they have depth on the position he is playing. Thibedi has twenty five years this year. He is club – less after parting ways with Swallows FC.


Swallows FC chairman David mogashoa had to confirm that Given Thibedi has left the club yesterday. Swallows FC head coach Ernst Midderndorp made it clear that Given is not in his plans even though he is a very talented player. We were told that Thibedi battled with injuries recently.

“We agreed with the player that it was not working out, so we thought it was in his best interest to allow him to leave early.

 

“The coach had made it clear that he did not see him in his plans, even though he is talented player. I have spoken to Given and he is obviously disappointed, but this will give him an opportunity to start afresh.” Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa said yesterday chatting with SABC sport.

 

In 2021, Given Thibedi had to leave Kaizer Chiefs FC on loan to Swallows FC. The stats were not favouring him but he contributed in the most goals that were scored by Swallows FC.

On the previous registration period, Kaizer Chiefs FC rejected lot of players. Ayanda Patosi and Kamohelo Mokotjo were also rejected by Amakhosi FC. Weeks later, the Glomour Boys also rejects their product under the head coach Arthur Zwane.

His full names are Given Moikhomotsi Thibedi, he was born in Witbank, Mpunalanga (eMalahleni) in South Africa on the 16th September 1997. He has twenty five years at the moment. His height is around 1.8 niters.

Thibedi is a South African right – footed central middlefielder. He can also play as an attacking midfielder or defensive midfielder. His agent’s name is CrossOver. He joined Swallowd FC on the 13th August 2021, he leave the same team this week.
