Mmodi has been a target of Amakhosi’s for a while now.
Furthermore, talks have resumed in Naturena with Chiefs adamant to bring the striker to Naturena in January.

Zwane and Amakhosi need a striker capable of consistently reaching double figures every season, they need pace and accuracy upfront and Mmodi has all this in abundance! Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Amakhosi are still targeting him.
There is added pressure on Golden Arrows to sell him in January because if he is not sold during the up-and-coming transfer window than he is able to leave the eThekwini based outfit for free in June.
This is because his contract expires at the end of the current DStv Premiership season, Therefore, this is Chiefs best chance to sign him.
