Kaizer Chiefs Defender Seek An Exit From Naturena!

Kaizer Chiefs defender Thabani Dube could seek an early exit from his Chiefs contract due to increasingly limited game-time.

Thabani Dube joined Chiefs from Richard Bay last season, but has battled to force his way into regular first-team action ever since arriving at the Soweto giants.

The defender seems to have fallen even further down the pecking order after the arrival of Zitha Kwinika and Edmilson Dove, and according to a report by Phakaaathi, he could now seek a move away from the club.

“It was Dove’s signing that really sealed his fate. He knew then that he was not in their plans, because they went and got a left-footed centre back from outside when he was already there,” the Phakaaathi source commented.

“While he continues to train hard and has remained a true professional, he knows his chances are not great and will leap at a move away.”

Chippa United, Cape Town City and Maritzburg United could apparently be interested in Dube should the opportunity to secure his services arise.
