Former Orlando Pirates coach has just made a massive return to the DStv Premiership where he will be head coach of the Bucs’ PSL rivals!
Fadlu Davids will be taking over as head coach at Maritzburg United, according to iDiskiTimes.
FORMER PIRATES COACH RETURNS TO THE PSL!
Furthermore, Davids is making a return to the club where he made a name for himself.
During the 2017/18 season he lead United to their highest-ever finish in the PSL when they finished fourth.
However, that’s not all. Davids even lead Maritzburg to the Nedbank Cup where they lost 1-0 to Free State Stars.
Unfortunately, the next few seasons went downhill for Davids. He only won two out of 17 games with Maritzburg United during the 2018/19season after several of his top stars joined other clubs in the PSL. Therefore, he faced the axe in December 2018.
