Ethan Brooks discusses the issues at AmaZulu FC.

Ethan Brooks, a player for AmaZulu FC, has explained why the team is still without a win in the 2023–24 DStv Premiership.

One of the teams without a league victory since the start of the new season is the KZN-based team.

Furthermore, AmaZulu's head coach Pablo Franco Martin's team has lost all four of their league games without scoring even a single goal.

Following three consecutive scoreless draws with Royal AM, SuperSport United, and Richards Bay, AmaZulu on Saturday suffered a 3-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs.

PSL newcomers Cape Town Spurs, who lost all four of their first league games, are another team without a victory.

TS Galaxy, Sekhukhune United, Polokwane City, and Chippa United were among the teams that Spurs lost against.

Ethan Brooks, who started all four games, has commented on AmaZulu's dismal recent performance.

ETHAN BROOKS DISCLOSES AMAZULU'S PROBLEMS IN THE NEW SEASON.

“To be honest, I feel we’ve just been unlucky because we’ve been failing to get in front of goals, and the ball doesn’t wanna get into the net,” said Brooks.

“I feel like everyone has that capability to score, so I feel like [on] Wednesday we should hopefully score two [goals].

“I mean, it’s not like in the pre-season we were not scoring, so it’s just unfortunate that we aren’t able to score right now,”

The Bafana Bafana international, who joined AmaZulu at the start of the 2022/23 season from TS Galaxy, has also spoken about facing his former club.

“Every game you play, there’s pressure, I mean, I didn’t play against them [Galaxy] last season, it’s exciting getting to play against them.

“But like I said, every game there’s pressure, so this one is gonna be one of those games where I have to show up.”

On September 30, 2023, at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, AmaZulu and TS Galaxy will square off in a league match. The game will begin at 19:30.
