Chiefs reject yet another prominent player

Kaizer Chiefs have rejected an initial proposal to sign former Bafana Bafana international midfielder.

According to reports, Amakhosi have declined to sign another player following the similar scenario with Pule Mmodi.

The renowned Kamohelo Mokotjo was a potential signing for Kaizer Chiefs, but they reportedly turned it down.

After departure of Njabulo Blom Arthur Zwane's admission that he is looking for a central midfielder.

"Kaizer Chiefs have rejected an initial proposal to sign Bafana Bafana international midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo, who is a free agent,” SABC Sport‘s leading reporter Mazola Molefe reported.

“According to SABC Sport sources, Chiefs are reluctant to sign a player who is over 30 given the mandate by the club headed by sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jnr and coach Arthur Zwane to drastically reduce the average age of the squad,” the report added
