Pitso Mosimane is reportedly in talks over a return to the Gulf with Saudi Pro League side Abha Club.
The Saudi top-flight side are languishing in 17th place and aiming to retain their top-flight status with Romanian George Timis currently caretaker coach.
It’s his second time installed in that capacity with Czesław Michniewicz and Yousef Al Mannai both sacked this season after poor results.
Reports in Saudi Arabia have emerged stating that Mosimane is in talks over a potential move for the final 15 games of the season, with the club five points adrift from safety.
It remains to be seen whether Mosimane and his technical team will accept the offer, as he previously stated only an enticing project would lure him back into management.
The club, previously coached by Belgian Sven Vandenbroeck, boast some impressive talents like Grzegorz Krychowiak and Karl Toko Ekambi but have largely underperformed over the past three seasons with two ninth-placed spots and a 13th-place finish since winning the Yelo League in the 2018/19 campaign.
It would be Mosimane’s second stint in Saudi Arabia after he led Al Ahli back into the Saudi Pro League following an impressive campaign that saw them crowned Yelo League champions before the Saudi Public Investment Fund took over the club and appointed former Red Bull Salzburg coach Matthias Jaissle.
As it stands it looks like Pitso Mosimane will not have a coaching job at Kaizer Chiefs Football Club since there are more serious clubs in demand of him since they have staked a very high amount to get him.
As it also looks Pitso Mosimane will have a coaching job before April since the Abha club are in serious demand of the coach.
Pitso Mosimane also stated that any team that wants him should expect him to come with his own technical team.
According to a source,Kaizer Chiefs Football Club are set to appoint Cavin Johnson as their Head Coach at the end of the Dstv Premiership season since it looks like they can not get Pitso Mosimane.
